Surana High Tech International School was inaugurated on 6th August 2023. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Anil Agarwal, Chairman Vedanta Resources Private Ltd and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Preetha Reddy, Vice Chairman, Apollo Hospitals.

Mr. Anil Agarwal, in his speech, urged the students to dream big and develop perseverance and resilience as key attributes to being a successful leader. Dr. Preetha Reddy emphasized on the link between technology and learning and how it can be used as an enabler in different education settings. “Students must learn to control technology instead of being a slave of technology. This was a very profound statement by her.

Surana High Tech is bringing in a revolutionary change in teaching and learning by leveraging Technology, VR, and AI as teaching resources. During the inauguration, teachers demonstrated how they use Robots and Bots to teach their subjects and make learning truly transdisciplinary.

The school has collaborated with Apollo Hospitals to enable the children in their cancer wards to experience the school and continue learning through Buddy Robot, their avatar at school.

Surana High Tech International School, with its state-of-the-art infrastructure, follows the IB curriculum. They have also signed an MoU with High Tech High School, California, USA, in the presence of Hon’ble Dr. Ponmudi, Minister for Higher Education, Tamil Nadu. Earlier, Dr. Narayanamurthy, former Chairman and Founder of Infosys had laid the foundation stone for Surana High Tech International School.
